Terms of Service

Quick Summary: You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of any links, notes, and content you save. We provide the tools to organize and query your vault, and expect fair, respectful use of our infrastructure and AI services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or accessing StashHaven via mobile devices (iOS/Android), our web platform, or our browser extensions (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms stated herein, you must refrain from using the Service.

2. Description of the Service

StashHaven provides a digital knowledge repository that enables individuals to curate, bookmark, organize, search, and semantically rediscover links, articles, media, and personal annotations across multiple devices.

3. User Accounts & Device Responsibility

  • Guest Access: Users may operate StashHaven in guest mode with data stored strictly in local device storage. Sync features require account creation.
  • Account Credential Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and managing device security (biometric authentication or passcodes). You agree to immediately notify us of any security compromise.

4. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

Your Content Remains Yours: We assert no ownership, copyright, or moral rights over any links, media, notes, or tags you curate in your vault.

Limited Operational License: By inputting content, you grant StashHaven a strictly limited, non-exclusive license solely to process, cache, generate metadata previews, and sync your content across your verified personal devices.

Copyright & DMCA: We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe any material hosted in our system infringes upon your copyright, please report it to our designated agent at legal@stashhaven.app.

5. Subscriptions, Upgrades & Payments

StashHaven offers a feature-rich Free Tier and an optional StashHaven Pro subscription plan:

  • Billing Management: Mobile subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Web subscriptions are processed via authorized payment processors.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date.
  • Refund Policy: In-app purchases are subject to the standard refund policies of Apple, Google, or our payment partners.

6. StashMind Disclaimers

StashMind provides automated summarization, keyword tagging, and semantic conversational search. AI-generated responses are provided for convenience on an "as-is" basis. StashHaven does not warrant that AI summaries are completely accurate, factual, or up to date.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use StashHaven to distribute malware, automated bot scripts, or phishing attacks.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or exploit security vulnerabilities or bypass SSRF firewalls.
  • Abuse StashMind endpoints with automated batch queries intended to exhaust service quotas.
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the client applications without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STASHHAVEN AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA CORRUPTION, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination & Modifications

You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account and discontinuing use of our services. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy. We will notify active users of significant revisions to these terms via email or in-app notice 30 days prior to their enforcement.
